2014 race day information

The 2014 Bathurst Half Marathon and 10km has been confirmed for Sunday 4th May – May the Fourth be with us! Start time is 9am with a course briefing to begin at 8.45am.

Online entry here. Please note online entry closes at midnight on the 2nd of May.

Entry-on-the day will be available on race morning between 7.30am and 8.30am at the Bathurst Rugby Clubhouse on Hereford St. This is about 80m from the race start and car park.

Carparking is available on the grass area in front of the Rugby Club on Hereford St, and on the other side of the street. Those people parking on the street in front of the Rugby Club House will be parking on the race course.

Drink stations: There are two drink stations with water and sports drink on course, at the 5km and 10km points. As the course is repeated with a small additional section for the half marathon distance, you will pass the drink stations four times in the half marathon distance.

Toilets and showers: Available in the Bathurst Rugby Club House.

Sausage Sizzle: Will be free and enticing as usual.

Cut-off time will be 2 hours, 20 minutes after race start i.e. 11.20am. This doesn’t mean we will pull people off the course at this time, but rather that we will begin to withdraw on course support i.e. marshals and drink station attendants will start packing up. We aim, of course, to give everyone the opportunity to complete their event, and will only pull people off course if they need medical attention.

The Bathurst Half Marathon and 10km is a fast, flat event, usually run in cool conditions in the friendly town of Bathurst, NSW. It’s well-known as the best free sausage sizzle in NSW, which also includes a running race. Everything you need to know is right here, from online entry to course profiles, to information on weather and accommodation.
